City Seeks Volunteer Greeters for Morton Civic Center
Are you looking for ways to volunteer and help make Evanston a better place to live and work? The City of Evanston Volunteer Program has a great opportunity for you as a Civic Center Greeter. Volunteers are needed to serve as front-line citizen engagement support for the City of Evanston.
These crucial volunteers will work with the front desk staff to greet Evanston residents and community members at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center and provide high-quality information in response to inquiries. Other down-time duties may include providing administrative support to city departments and supporting special city initiatives.
Shifts are 3.5 to 4 hours and are available mornings and afternoons, Monday through Friday. The ideal volunteer would have: excellent customer service skills in person and on the phone; computer skills: MS Word, Excel Outlook; and be detail-oriented. Spanish language skills are a plus.
