Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre Auditions on March 3
Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre is holding general auditions for its 2012 summer season from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3 at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, Room 223,
927 Noyes St., Evanston. The theatre will cast two plays and two dramatic readings. People of all types are encouraged to audition. Please prepare a one- to two-minute monologue and bring a headshot and a resume.
The first main stage play is Heat by Marsha Estelle. Women age 18-70 will be cast; commitment dates are May 14-June 24. The second main stage play is Home by Samm-Art Williams. Men and women age 20-40 will be cast; commitment dates are June 11-July 15).
The first play in the Dramatic Reading Series is Going to St. Ives by Lee Blessing. Men age 20-30 will be cast; commitment dates are August 6-12. The second play, Woza Albert!, was written by Percy Mtwa, Mbongeni Ngema, and Barney Simon. Women age 40-50 will be cast; commitment dates are August 13-19.
