Downtown Evanston Farmers' Market Marks 37th Year May 5
The Downtown Evanston Farmers’ Market will celebrate its 37th year when it opens on Sat., May 5. The market will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Saturday through early November. Fifty-one vendors will sell a wide variety of goods, including fruits, vegetables, meat, flowers, cheese, milk, eggs and bakery items. The Downtown Market is located at University Pl. and Oak Ave., behind the Hilton Garden Inn. Parking is free at the adjacent 1800 Maple garage. Other Evanston markets begin later this spring.
