E.P.D. Executes Search Warrant on Convicted Felon's Residence

On Monday evening, April 16th, Evanston Police investigators accompanied by officers from the Cook County Sheriff’s Police North Gang Unit, executed a search warrant for narcotics in the 1400 block of W. Juneway Terr. which is located in the East Rogers Park Neighborhood of Chicago.

Police recovered a 9mm handgun and a .38 caliber revolver along with a small quantity of heroin and marijuana during the search of the residence on Juneway Terrance. Evanston Police were initially lead to the location from information received about the illegal sale of heroin occurring in the Evanston area.

The resident, Henry B. Gill Jr. was taken into custody by police and charged with the below listed offenses.

Firearm Ammunition without a Valid Firearm Owner’s Identification Card – 1 Count
(F.O.I.D. offenses are class A misdemeanors)
Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Class 2 Felony
Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – Class 4 Felony
Unlawful Possession of Cannabis – Class B Misdemeanor
