The Evanston Public Library will host its Spring Book Sale on Friday, April 20 through Sunday, April 22, 2012 in the third floor Book Sale Room of the Main Library located at 1703 Orrington Avenue in Evanston. The sale features hundreds of items in great condition that make great gifts. There is something for everyone, including books on travel, cooking, art, music, self help, history, social issues, biographies, and much more. There are also a tremendous number of children’s books designed for young babies to teens.

If you would like to get a sneak-peek before the doors open to the public, the Special Preview Sale will be held on Friday, April 20 from 10 a.m. until noon. The admission to this special event is $5 per person. The Regular Book Sale runs noon until 5:30 p.m., Friday, April 20, 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 and noon until 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 22 (all books, CDs and DVDs will be sold at half-price on Sunday).
