Calling All Local Artists to Join the Super Sidewalk Sale
Be a part of this years’ Super Sidewalk Sale in downtown Evanston on Saturday, July 28 & Sunday, July 29. Shoppers hit the sidewalks where independent retailers and national chains set up shop with too- good- to- resist deals. This year, local artists and live musical groups are invited to join downtown’s weekend event.
Evanston-based artists are invited to set up alongside downtown retail locations and in front of restaurants and service businesses to display their wares and one-of-a-kind artwork for the public to peruse, enjoy and purchase! If you are a local, Evanston artist interested in displaying and selling your paintings, jewelry, ceramics, sculptures, photography, etc., contact the Downtown Evanston office at (847) 866-6319. To be considered, artists must contact Downtown Evanston by Friday, June 29 as space is limited. There will be a $50 fee to participate and the artists are required to set up both Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
This event provides a wonderful opportunity for artists to increase exposure and showcase their creations. Because of Evanston’s easy access, this is a well-attended event by individuals from all over the north shore.

The Super Sidewalk Sale in downtown Evanston is accessible via public transit by taking the CTA Purple Line “el” to the Davis; or take Metra to the Davis stop.
