Crawford Avenue Resurfacing Set for July 9
Illinois Department of Transportation Crawford Avenue Resurfacing
The Illinois Department of Transportation will be contracting road resurfacing work on Crawford Avenue from Golf Road to Gross Point Road. This project involves curb replacement, as needed; roadway base repair, replacement of asphalt surface from curb to curb; and roadway striping. The funding for the project will be from Illinois Department of Transportation funds and there will be no direct charge for the property owners on these streets.

Project Schedule
Construction will begin the week of July 9 with the entire project expected to be fully completed by the end of August. The construction activities will create some inconvenience for abutting residents, but we will attempt to minimize these problems.
Contractor
The contractor for this street improvement project is Plote Construction Inc. 1100 Brandt Drive, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192.
City Supervision
The project is under the supervision of Illinois Department of Transportation. The Resident Engineer in the field will be Sal Dajani, P.E., who will be directly responsible for all aspects of the construction.
