Upcoming Activities for Youth and Young Teens

Free summer activities are in full swing for youth, teens and young adults. Weather permitting, open fishing will be held on Lake Michigan this evening (Thurs., June 21) for ages 10 to 15 years. Meet at the Church St. Boat Ramp at 5:00 p.m. The program will end at 7:30 p.m. For more info., call 847-866-4167.

Evanston youth age 13-18 ice-skate for free through the end of August during Robert Crown Center’s public skating sessions. Skate rental is free, too! Click here for details. 

Evanston youth age 13-18 who may not otherwise be able to go to the beach may pick up a pass for free beach visits. They are available at the main Evanston Public Library or a Recreation Community Center during office hours: (Robert Crown, Ecology, Chandler-Newberger or Fleetwood-Jourdain). Proof of Evanston residency is required.
