NEW! Family and Adult Golf Programs

Come join the 3Point Athletics golf staff and your Evanston neighbors for a fun-filled night at the golf course! Family Golf Nights will be held on Saturday evenings (June 2, June 29 and July 27). Moms, dads, brothers, sisters, grandmas, grandpas—come one, come all! Click on flyer link below.

3Point Athletics also will host Adult Open Golf Clinics focusing on golf fundamentals, beginning on the green and gradually moving back from there. Choose from 12 different early-evening clinics. Click on flyer link below.

Spring ADULT and FAMILY Golf programs  

 

Chandler-Newberger Center manages a wide range of programs, held both at the Center and throughout the community in parks and public schools. In 2010, the Center had over 7,000 registered or drop-in participants in their programs.

Major programs include nine types of summer day camps for school-aged youth and preschoolers, after-school sports classes, girls’ youth basketball leagues, youth flag football leagues, preschool play groups, youth chess, adult/youth fencing, preschool development classes, youth gymnastics, adult/youth volleyball leagues, women’s basketball classes and more. Staff also oversees the citywide tennis program for youth and adults; tennis classes, leagues and private lessons are held in local parks and at Evanston Township High School.

We get help managing these programs from generous Evanston residents. Each year, about 150 Evanston residents volunteer for programs that are run by the Chandler-Newberger Center, such as referreeing at the March Madness tournament or acting as a chaperone at the Sports Camps' Great America trips.

The emphasis of programs held at Chandler-Newberger Center is to provide positive self-development through learning skills and individual improvement. The 14,000 square foot facility also provides room, racquetball court and gymnasium rentals to community groups, youth birthday party groups and recreation enthusiasts.MURALJAN09cleanedupwebCIMG0601.gif
