Levy Center Bus Service
The Levy Family donated a 22-passenger bus to shuttle members to and from the Center. The bus does not leave Evanston boundaries and it does not make door-to-door pick-ups or drop-offs. To call to arrange for bus transportation to and from the Levy Senior Center, please call the Levy Center office at 847.448.8250.
The Levy Senior Center is a designated RTA registration site to apply for your RTA Reduced Fare Card! The RTA Reduced Fare Card enables senior citizens who are within three weeks of their 65th birthday or older, qualified veterans, and qualified persons with disabilities to ride all RTA services at a reduced rate. Senior citizens must apply in person at a designated Senior Center (including the Levy Senior Center).
You must have a copy of one of the following types of identification: driver's license, State of Illinois ID card, alien registration card or passport. You also need a wallet-sized color photo. The person in the photo cannot wear a hat, scarf or sunglasses. The Levy Center will take your photo at no charge during office hours.
You may call the RTA Travel Information Center at 312.836.7000 or TTY: 312.836.4949 for information on how to apply for an RTA Reduced Fare Card or you can visit http://www.rtachicago.com/fare-programs/reduced-fare-program.html
The CTA #97 bus stops right in front of the Levy Center. It runs between Westfield Old Orchard and Howard Street. The CTA #93 bus also stops right in front of the Levy Center. It runs from the Dodge/Emerson intersection to Howard Street.
The ADA Paratransit Service is for riders whose disability or health condition may prevent them from using a fixed route service such as buses and “L” trains. This is a shared, curb to curb ride. Please call 312.681.3098 for more information.
