Confidential fee assistance is available to qualified Evanston residents based on family size and total family income. A “resident” lives in ZIP codes 60201 or 60202.

Fee Assistance (scholarship) applications are available at local community centers and the Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, as well as located on this page in PDF form. Applications are not processed by telephone and it could take five business days to process an application. Fee assistance is valid for six months.

Fee Assistance for summer camps
Summer camps have a limited number of spaces for children and there are limitations in the dollar amount of fee assistance per camp, so please register early!

 In order to hold a space in a summer camp, you must register your child and pay the deposit. For your initial fee assistance application, we’ll accept your current financial information (tax return from the previous year and W-2). Because fee assistance is valid for six months, depending on the date of registration, you may be required to provide updated financial information before camp starts.
