Robert Crown Center
Robert Crown Community Center and Ice Complex offers a wide range of recreation activities for all ages.
The Robert Crown Community Center offers sports programs, classes in the visual and performing arts, and after-school and preschool programs.
The Robert Crown Ice Complex provides ice skating, figure skating, hockey, speedskating and broomball. Skates may be rented to attend the public skating sessions and may be rented for use during skating classes.
Public Ice skating
Admission for all public skating sessions is $8 per person.
Skate More and $ave! A full-year pass valid for all Robert Crown Center public skating sessions is $125.
Freestyle Practice Ice Time
Freestyle Practice Ice time is for skaters who are looking to practice on their own or with a private instructor. This time is available for beginner and advanced skaters therefore; the times are designated for certain levels. Typically these contracts are quarterly typically 13-14 weeks in length and you contract for those times weekly. Host a private ice skating, hockey or broomball party!
Host an indoor skating party during public skate sessions for only $120 at the Robert Crown Ice Complex. The skating party package for up to 16 people includes ice time during any public skate session, 16 skate rental tickets and two tables in the east lobby. You just bring the guests and refreshments! Additional skating tickets may be purchased for $5 each. The maximum seating capacity is 20. Advanced reservations are recommended and payment is required at time of booking. You can have a cool private celebration when you rent a rink! Celebrate your birthday or anniversary . . . or invite your friends to Robert Crown Center for a private ice skating, hockey or broomball party! Skate rental is just $2 per pair and broomball equipment rental is $25 per party group. Advance registration is important, so please call 847-448-8258 today.
Studio Rink Fee: $160/hour Main Rink Fee: $350/hour
Non-Prime Time (11:30pm and later): studio rink, $130/hour; main rink, $265/hour

Multiple Gold Medal Olympian and World Record Holder Shani Davis learned to speed skate at Robert Crown Center, starting at age six!
The Evanston Speedskating Club provides coaching and direction to youth (age 3+) and adults interested in improving their speedskating skills and/or wanting to compete in the sport. Through the Club, competition for all ages and levels is available throughout the season at local skating facilities. Club members are part of the Amateur Skating Association of Illinois.
The new program for 2015 begins on Thursday, February 5, from 6-7:00 pm, and focuses on Learn to Skate for novices. The drop-in fee is $15. Speedskates are available for rental. For details, please call Robert Crown Center at 847-448-8258 or visit evanstonspeedskate.com
Evanston Youth Hockey Association (EYHA) is a member of the NHL Diversity family. EYHA has been a leader in the area of diversity since the 1960s, and it is an honor for the National Hockey League to grant them NHL Diversity affiliate status.
