2011 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)

The 2011 CAPER, which details use of CDBG, HOME and ESG funds by the City of Evanston from March 1 - December 31, 2011, the City's 2011 fiscal year, was submitted to HUD on March 30, 2012.

The City of Evanston submitted its 2012 Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing & Economic Development following approval by City Council at its meeting on November 14, 2011. The City expects to receive its 2012 CDBG and HOME allocations from HUD in April 2012. The City's draft substantial amendments to the 2011 and 2012 Action Plans relating to the Emergency Solutions Grant program (ESG) have been posted for public comment. The amendments will be submitted to HUD on May 15, 2012.

CDBG-R Plan Amendment

The City of Evanston received approval of the Amendment to its Community Development Block Grant Recovery (CDBG-R) Plan from HUD. The amendment reallocated unspent CDBG-R funds to economic development activities in the City's South Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area.
