DETECTIVE BUREAU

The Detective Bureau is part of the Criminal Investigations Division. Detectives handle initial and follow-up investigations including but not limited to: homicides, sex offenses, burglary, arson, theft, financial crimes, con games, robbery, kidnapping, missing person, aggravated assaults and batteries.

This bureau incorporates proactive initiatives regarding liquor license inspections and investigations, fugitive warrant sweeps, stolen property sting operations and parole checks. Investigative cooperation is always extended to other local police departments, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
