Youth Council
The City of Evanston has a Youth Council comprised of ETHS students who meet on a bi-monthly basis with Mayor and Youth & Young Adult staff. The council, Mayor, and staff discuss issues relevant to youth needs & concerns.
The Youth Council also:
- Makes direct suggestions to the Mayor and staff regarding needs of youth and young adults in Evanston
- Suggestions include possible services, activities, programs that appeal to youth and assist with effective outreach
- Provides direct feedback on city wide youth and young adult issues
