Falcon Banding at Evanston Public Library

Experience a Falcon Banding
falcon banding at Evanston Public LibraryMary Hennen, Assistant Collections Manager at The Field Museum, will band young peregrine falcons hatched at the Evanston Public Library nesting site. The babies will be removed from the nest, brought inside, and then returned to the nest after the banding is done. The baby falcons (eyasses) will also be named at the event which is free and open to the public. Hennen  will answer your questions.
Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
