Levy Lecture Series: Silent Heroes, the Resistance Movement in Nazi Germany

UntitledThe Levy Lecture Series is an educational program for residents 55+ years who are passionate about learning. Head to the Levy Senior Center on Tues., Dec. 10 to hear a lecture by Anette Isaacs called "Silent Heroes, the Resistance Movement in Nazi Germany". Anette Isaacs will pay homage to Sophie and Hans Scholl, Georg Elser, Baron von Stauffenberg, the women of Rosenstrasse, and other groups who made up the German Resistance. Learn about these courageous people who were brave enough to be different in the most extraordinary circumstances.

Reservations are required. You can register below, call 847-448-8250 or stop by the front desk. All lectures are free and are held in the Linden Room.
