As a precautionary measure, there will be postponement of the upcoming Wild & Scenic Film Festival in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Evanston Wild & Scenic Film Festival will once again offer the best in inspirational environmental and adventure films to the public. This year’s fest will take place on two separate Friday evenings, February 28 and March 13, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The film festival is presented by the Evanston Environmental Association and the City of Evanston. This year’s lineup includes a personal film on the Boundary Waters and the current threat to them from a polluting type of copper mining, a celebratory story of open spaces, a documentary on urban beekeepers in Detroit, and a montage of women doing extreme outdoor activities.
General admission tickets for the film festival are $12. To buy tickets and learn more, visit evanstonenvironment.org/filmfest.
