Fall Fest at Downtown Evanston Farmers' Market

Farmers Market logoThe Downtown Evanston Farmers' Market is celebrating its 43rd year! The market will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through Nov. 3 at the intersection of University Place and Oak Ave (behind Hilton Garden Inn, east of East Railroad Ave.).

For Fall Fest, come by the Spud Club tent on Saturday, October 27, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. We will have pumpkins for the first 100 kids to decorate (age 10 & under – limit one pumpkin per kid!). You can win a big decorated pumpkin donated by Elko Farm if you guess that pumpkin’s correct weight, join in the Pumpkin Roll, pumpkin decorating and lots more fun! Every kid in a costume will get a goody bag! All activities are sponsored by proceeds from our Truck 2 Table Event.

The market has a festive atmosphere and is a real crowd-pleaser. As many as 58 vendors sell a wide variety of goods each week, including fruits, vegetables, meat, flowers, cheese, eggs, and baked goods. Visitors are encouraged to arrive to the market hungry, as food will be sold on site.  LINK cards are accepted. Again this year, LINK customers will be able to receive a match of up to $25 per Saturday.

There's plenty of fun for kids! The Spud Club offers free, fun activities for children ages 2 to 10 years old.
