City Seeks Public Comment on 2019 Action Plan

housesThe City of Evanston’s Housing & Community Development Act Committee will hold a public meeting to hear comment on the 2019 Action Plan on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 7 p.m. in Room 2402 of the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave. All interested persons are encouraged to attend.

The 2019 Action Plan outlines how the City’s estimated 2019 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds, along with program income and unspent CDBG funds from prior years, will be used to improve the quality of life primarily for low and moderate income Evanston residents.  A draft of the 2019 Action Plan may be viewed beginning October 15, 2018 in Room 3304 of the Morton Civic Center or viewed online at

The 30-day comment period for the City’s 2019 Action Plan opens on Monday, October 15 and closes Tuesday, November 13, 2018.
