"Odyssey: the life and work of Ron Villani" Opens November 9

villani_image_600pxCommunity members are invited to view “Odyssey: the life and work of Ron Villani,” an art exhibition paying tribute to Ron Villani’s extensive career, on display in the Noyes Cultural Arts Center’s 2nd floor gallery, 927 Noyes St., from Friday, November 9 through Friday, December 28.

Ron Villani was a Chicago-based artist whose professional career as an illustrator, designer, and art director spanned six decades. A sampling of the galleries where his work has been shown include the Kovler Gallery, Gallery Mid-North, Packer Gallery, Kasha Heman Gallery, Dittmar Memorial Gallery and Werkspace. This exhibition will feature work from his life and celebrate his creative spirit.

An opening reception will be held on Friday, November 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Admission is always free.
