Ald. Fleming Reappointed to National League of Cities Council for Race, Equity and Leadership (REAL)
The National League of Cities (NLC) has announced the reappointment of 9th Ward Ald. Cicely Fleming to the Council for Race, Equity and Leadership (REAL).
REAL is an NLC initiative to strengthen the knowledge and capacity of local elected officials to eliminate racial disparities, heal racial divisions, and build more equitable communities. Ald. Fleming previously served on the 2018 REAL Council, and her reappointment will allow her to continue sharing her expertise and insights to help achieve REAL's mission.

"I look forward to continuing to collaborate with local government leaders to create inclusive, thriving, and healthy communities, while applying proven strategies to advance equity in Evanston and the 9th Ward."
