Post Date:07/18/2019 11:42 AM

Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre’s (FJT) production of “Sunset Baby,” by Dominique Morisseau is on stage through July 28.

The play tells the story of Nina, a young, tough independent woman, who is visited by her estranged father, a former revolutionary in the Black Liberation Movement who seeks to mend their broken relationship. As father and daughter circle one another, deep-rooted wounds are discovered, generational differences exposed, and burning truths lay bare.

Performances take place on Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St. Tickets are available for $20 in advance online, or $30 at the door.
