Post Date:03/20/2020 2:37 PM

Drinking Water WeekIn honor of 2020 National Drinking Water Week (NDWW), May 3-9, the City is hosting an art contest for 3rd grade students in Evanston to celebrate the contest's theme, "There when you need it." The purpose of NDWW is to celebrate water by recognizing the essential role it plays in our daily lives.

Through Monday, April 6, community members are encouraged to cast their vote online at surveymonkey.com/r/ndww2020 to determine this year’s People's Choice Award winner. All votes must be submitted by 5 p.m. on April 6.

Awards will include Evanston beach tokens for the 2020 summer, a plaque recognizing their achievement, and a chance to have their artwork displayed at the main Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave., during Drinking Water Week.

For more information about NDWW, visit cityofevanston.org/drinkingwaterweek or call/text 847-448-4311. For convenience, residents may simply dial 3-1-1 in Evanston.
