City Seeks Input on COVID-19 Community Impacts, Needs
As part of its ongoing response and recovery efforts, the City of Evanston is conducting two community needs assessment surveys to gauge the impact of COVID-19 on Evanston residents and organizations, and to gather input on resources, needs and concerns.
The surveys – one geared towards individuals and the other geared towards organizations – are available at cityofevanston.org/recovery, or by clicking the links below:
Community organizations and individuals can also complete the surveys by phone or request paper copies of the surveys by calling/texting 847-448-4311, or dialing 3-1-1 in Evanston.
Survey data will help the City leverage state and federal resources, inform the City’s budgeting and grantmaking process, prioritize nonprofit partnerships, and support critical social service providers in making the case for funding.
As the City continues to work with state and local public health partners to limit the spread of COVID-19 in Evanston, the City is developing a recovery plan to get back to a new normal of work and recreation. In addition, through the Mayor’s COVID-19 Task Force, City staff and community leaders are working together to determine the best way to get Evanston faith organizations, nonprofits, and businesses to manage in this challenging time, while meeting the needs of the community.
