The Juneteenth Parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 15. The parade lineup will take place at Lee Street and Dodge Avenue, and the parade will begin at 11 a.m. The City has notified the CTA and Pace Bus transportation regarding the festivities.

Please be advised that due to the parade festivities, pedestrian and vehicular traffic is expected to increase along the parade route and surrounding areas. Rolling street closures will be in effect. The City is collaborating with Northwestern University Ryan Field and the Central Street Consortium to mitigate any potential impacts to the parade arising from the construction zone.

Please note that the parade route will take participants through Emerson Street, currently used as the truck route for Northwestern University Ryan Field’s construction site. It's important for everyone to be mindful of safety and exercise caution while attending the parade.
