Non-Detected Compounds

Evanston is required by the State to analyze the drinking water for hundreds of compounds, many of those compounds are not detected in our water.  Evanston voluntarily tests for additional compounds as well.


The yearly Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) contains detected compounds. The document linked below lists the 184 compounds that have not been detected in the drinking water. A Non-Detected Compound means the compound was not detected at the minimum amount the laboratory can reliably detect.
