What is Housing4All?

As Evanston’s first dedicated housing strategy, Housing4All provides an analysis of current housing conditions along with recommendations for the future. The plan serves as the City’s guiding framework for the next ten years, setting a clear vision for how Evanston will meet its housing needs. It identifies gaps and goals and develops objectives and strategies with a focus on implementation and accountability.

After reviewing public input, the Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC) will recommend a final version of the plan to the City Council for adoption.

675+ English and Spanish responses were completed. Paper forms were available for pick-up and drop-off at six City of Evanston facilities.

A summary of feedback will be posted on or before October 21. Thank you for your input! Your contributions help to create a stronger, more implementable, and more impactful plan.

Preliminary: Through July 29, 2024 (CLOSED)

100+ English and Spanish responses were completed. Input from PRO Housing applications, the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, Envision Evanston 2045, and recent engagement efforts will also inform the direction of the plan.
