Inspection results are displayed in the format below (brief explanations are included):
Food establishments are inspected between one and three times annually depending on the food menu; the more complex the menu, the more frequent the inspections. Each violation observed during the inspection is recorded as Corrected During Inspection (CDI) or Next Routine Inspection (NRI). Violations carry point values, and when observed those values are subtracted from 100 to determine the food establishment inspection score. Items where no violations are observed are listed as well, per staff recommendations, the owner(s) and consumers could review safe food practices.
