Tokens go on sale beginning Monday, April 1 and can be purchased at the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., or any of the five community centers.
2019 Season General Information
A season token or daily pass is required for beach admission during operating hours. One token or daily pass is required per person. A season token is valid for the entire beach season.
Season: Saturday, May 25—Monday, September 2
Beach hours: May 25-June 7, 11am—6pm
June 8—Sept. 2 (Labor Day), beach hours are 10:30am—7:30pm
Starting on April 1, season tokens may be purchased weekdays, 8:30am—5pm at the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., and at local community centers during their office hours (Robert Crown, Chandler-Newberger, Fleetwood-Jourdain, Levy Senior Center, and Evanston Ecology Center).
Starting on May 18, tokens may also be purchased at the Dempster Street Beach office between the hours of 10am—7:30pm.
Cash, personal checks, and credit cards are accepted.
Free Beach Days
For Evanston residents, Clark Street Beach on Mondays from July 8—August 26
Daily beach admission is $8, adult and $6, child age 1—11.

*The City of Evanston and Skokie Park District have a reciprocal agreement that allows Skokie residents to buy Evanston season beach tokens at our resident rate and allows Evanston residents to buy a Skokie pool season pass at their resident rate. Pool passes are valid at both Skokie Water Playground and Devonshire Aquatic Center. Evanston residents will be charged the nonresident walk-up daily fee, which varies depending on location and age.
Fee assistance is available to qualified Evanston residents for season beach tokens, as well as for other Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department classes and programs. You may apply for fee assistance at the Morton Civic Center. Please call 847-448-8237 in advance to determine which documents to bring.
Free Beach Tokens
A limited number of free beach tokens are made available through the City of Evanston's Recreation Division and various community outreach agencies/organizations to Evanston residents who meet income guidelines. Teen Outreach Beach Passes
Teens ages 13-18 yrs. who may not otherwise be able to go to the beach, may pick up a free 10-punch beach pass at community centers and the Main Library Branch. Proof of Evanston residency is required.
