2020 Season General Information
A season token or daily pass is required for beach admission during operating hours. One token or daily pass is required per person. A season token is valid for the entire beach season. Cash, personal checks, and credit cards are accepted.

Purchase Beach Tokens
Season tokens can be purchased online and picked up at the Dempster Street Beach Office, 1251 Lake Shore Blvd. (10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.); Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd. (8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday); Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St. (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday); and Robert Crown Community Center and Library Branch, 1801 Main St. (9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday) during their office hours. Tokens can also be purchased in person at these facilities. Please note, due to holiday facility closures, beach tokens will only be available at the Dempster and Clark Street beach offices July 3 and 4, and at these two locations and the Robert Crown Center on July 5.
Free Beach Days
For Evanston residents, Clark Street Beach on Mondays from July 6—August 31
Daily beach admission is $8, adult and $6, child age 1—11. Daily passes may be purchased at the Clark Street Beach Office and Dempster Street Beach Office only; passes will not be sold at other beach locations.

*The City of Evanston and Skokie Park District have a reciprocal agreement that allows Skokie residents to buy Evanston season beach tokens at our resident rate and allows Evanston residents to buy a Skokie pool season pass at their resident rate. Pool passes are valid at both Skokie Water Playground and Devonshire Aquatic Center. Evanston residents will be charged the nonresident walk-up daily fee, which varies depending on location and age.
Fee assistance is available to qualified Evanston residents for season beach tokens, as well as for other Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department classes and programs.
Free Beach Tokens
Free beach tokens are made available through the City of Evanston's Recreation Division and various community outreach agencies/organizations to Evanston residents . Teens ages 13-18 yrs. who may not otherwise be able to go to the beach, may pick up a free 10-punch beach pass at community centers and the Main Library Branch.
