Synchronized Skating Teams

Synchronized Skating Teams

Interested in being part of a skating team? Robert Crown Center offers a team experience with Evanston Ice synchronized skating teams. Teams are formed in mid-April for the upcoming season.

What is synchronized skating?

Synchronized skating is a team sport where groups of 8-20 skaters perform a routine on the ice set to music. The routines include various elements such as blocks, lines, wheels, circles, jumps and spins. It offers skaters the chance to improve their power, speed, and skills while developing as a team.

There are 20 different levels of competition in synchro that are divided up into Beginner, Developmental and Competitive categories. In the 2024-25 season, Evanston Ice sponsored teams at the Aspire 2, Aspire 3, Preliminary, and Pre-Juvenile levels.

About Us

The mission of Evanston Ice Synchronized Skating Teams is to foster a spirit of community, teamwork, discipline, and excellence in the sport of synchronized skating. We are dedicated to developing our skills through collaboration and hard work, while promoting a love for ice skating in a supportive, inclusive, and team environment. Our goal is to perform with grace, creativity, and technical precision, inspiring each other and our community through our passion for the sport.

Coaches:

IJS Head Coach: Jana Reynolds
Aspire Head Coach: Catherine Reynolds
