What Is Theatre On Ice?

Theatre On Ice (TOI) is a form of competitive figure skating that is popular in Europe, where it is known as Ballet on Ice.  It combines the grace of figure skating with the excitement of theatre and dance.  Theatre On Ice is a creation using all aspects of figure skating, incorporating a theme, emotion or story, enhanced by music.

Auditions
Saturday, November 3  at   6–6:45am. Please be ready to go on ice at 6am.

Call Backs
Sunday, November 4   at 6–7am. Please be ready to go on ice at 6am.

 

Practice Schedule

Teams usually practice twice a week.

Saturdays, 11:45am–12:45pm  and  Wednesdays, 4:30–5:15pm.

First Team Practice

TBD, January 2019

All practices take place at the Robert Crown Community Center, 1701 Main St. Practices may be cancelled or changed due to ice availability.

2018 National Competition

The 2018 Theatre On Ice Teams competed at the National competition in Geneva, IL.
The Preliminary Team placed fourth overall and earned a pewter medal.
The Intermediate Team placed first overall for a National Championship.

 

2017 National Competition

The 2017 Theatre On Ice Team competed at the National competition in Evansville, IN.  
The team placed 8th overall and 9th in the Choreographic Exercise.  The team was also the Recipient of Best Adaptation of a Known Work.
