The curriculum provided by USA Hockey’s Learn to Play program is designed to teach fundamental Hockey Skills in both skating and Stick/Puck work. Participants will learn the necessary skills of being successful in game situations. Full gear is required
for this class; all equipment can be borrowed.

POWER HOCKEY

With Power Hockey you will increase your endurance and speed which will improve leg strength, quickness, flexibility, core strength, balance and skating techniques. Must currently participate in a House or Travel Program. No class: Nov. 8.

YOUTH STICK AND PUCK

Get in some extra stick and puck time on the days that schools have early dismissal or when school is not in session. Program is designed for beginning hockey players and EYHA House League players. Supervision is provided while on ice. Coaching, scrimmaging and organized practices are prohibited.

Pre-registration fee: $10 R/$10 NR
Day of per session fee: $14 R/$14 NR
Length: 1 session

 

GIRLS BEGINNER HOCKEY

This beginner program is an excellent way to encourage and teach girls to the sport of hockey. Instruction will focus on developing skating skills and ice hockey fundamentals through drills and group instruction. Full gear is required for this class
and can be borrowed for each session. 30 Minutes of On-Ice and 10 minutes of Off-Ice instruction.
