What's more fun than gathering with your friends, family and fellow Evanstonians to enjoy an afternoon in the park with free food, games, activities and entertainment?

The 2019 CommUNITY Picnic will take place on Sunday, August 25 from Noon-4 p.m. in Ingraham Park (west of the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue).

Admission is free. Bring the whole family for hours of entertainment, fun activities, free food and giveaways!

CommUNITY Picnic Partners Wanted

The City is seeking community organizations and businesses to participate as exhibitors at the event. Participating organizations should be aligned with the goal of celebrating the beginning of a new school year and the community's diversity.
 
In order to provide a wide range of experiences for participants, only two organizations with the same occupational focus will be allowed to participate.  If more than two register, availability will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
Interested organizations are encouraged to register to participate by registering here.

Over 80 volunteers are needed to make this another successful event! Individuals, families and groups interested in volunteering should contact Michelle Tompkins at mtompkins@cityofevanston.org or call 847-448-4311.
