Robert Crown Center

Robert Crown Community Center offers hockey and ice-skating programs as well as non-skating recreation programs. The Center offers a valuable venue for hockey, figure skating,  camp programs, pre-school and after school programs and many other community programs. Outside facilities include space for soccer and baseball.

The  55,600 square foot facility features:  

  • Main Rink     NHL  85' x 200'
  • Studio Rink     60' x 80'
  • Pottery Room
  • Four Locker Rooms
  • Full-size Gymnasium
  • Meeting spaces of various sizes for meetings, birthday parties or special occasions.  Available for rentals.
  • State Licensed Child Care Program
  • Concession Stand  - open during events and on weekends
  • Free WiFi – limited locations
  • Handicap accessible
  • On-site and handicap accessible parking 

The Robert Crown Community Center (RCCC) is open from early morning to late evening.

History

Built in 1974 with a generous and visionary donation from the Crown family, the Robert Crown Center has long served as an important social and recreational hub for the City of Evanston. Welcoming over 150,000 visitors each year, Robert Crown Center is the City’s most used health and wellness facility. Its impact reaches all corners of the region, and helps make Evanston a wonderful place to live.
