Robert Crown Community Center(RCCC)offers hockey and ice-skating programs as well as non-skating recreation programs. The Center offers a valuable venue for hockey, figure skating,  camp programs, preschool and after school programs and many other community programs.


Phase IV  Opening

Starting Friday, June 26 the Robert Crown Community will be open with limited amenities open to the public.    Hours will be 9am-10pm, Monday - Sunday.


All individuals entering the facility must wear a mask.  If not participating in a strenuous activity the mask must be worn at all times while maintaining social distancing.


The following areas are open - Rink 1 and Rink 2 for Figure Skating Practice Ice and Hockey and Lace Up Room.


Public Skating sessions and Adult Drop In Hockey will begin Friday, July 10.  

Public Ice Skating  - Current public skate pass holders will receive a 4 month extension on their current pass. (the maximum number of skaters allowed on the ice at one time is 40)  July 10 - August 30.  Masks are required to be worn while skating.

Sunday  1-2:30pm


Adult Drop In Hockey will be held on Saturdays and Sundays.

Saturdays    11:15am-12:45pm     and       5:15-6:45pm

Sundays       11:15am-12:45pm     and       5:15-6:45pm


The following areas are still closed to the public - Library and Running Track (will be open to the public on September 1).


Adult and Youth Open Gym Basketball  will begin July 25

Men 18 yrs and Up     $3 per person

Sunday 1:30-3:30pm

Monday  6:45-8:45pm

Tuesday  6:45-8:45pm


Women 18 yrs and Up   $3 per person

Monday  6:45-8:45pm


High School   Free

Saturday  1:00-3:30pm


Grade School  Free

Saturday  1:00-3:30pm

Wednesday  6:45-8:00pm

Summer Food Service Program

RCCC is a site for breakfast and lunch for individuals 1-18 years of age.  


Meals served Monday - Friday July 6 - August 14.  Meals are grab and go and cannot be consumed on site.

Breakfast served 7-9am

Lunch is served 11:30am - 1:30pm

Produce Mobile

The Produce Mobile has a change in location for Tuesday, July 14.  The location will be at Levy Senior Center parking lot, 300 Dodge Avenue, Evanston. Time: 9:30am-10:30am
