Camp Registration Day

No more waiting for camp lottery results!

Camp registration kicks off this year with a simple new process to benefit Evanston residents. This year there will be a camp registration day taking place on February 4, 2017 from 8am–Noon online and in-person at the Robert Crown Community Center only. No phone registrations will be allowed at this time. This will replace the camp lottery system from previous years. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. This process will fairly allocate slots in camps which have high demand. The camp registration day is for Evanston residents only (ZIP codes 60201 and 60202). Proof of residency is required. After Noon on February 4, you will not be able to register for additional camps or wait lists until Monday, February 6 at 10am.

Camp guides will be distributed to Evanston public and private elementary schools the week of Jan 16, 2017. Note: Some schools do not distribute printed material to every student. Some schools use the electronic backpack.

Youth camps include several types of sports camps, arts camps, ecology camps, preschool camps, aquatic camp, fencing, figure skating, general day camps, LEGO camps and more! Older children and teens may register for arts camp and several counselor in training/leadership programs. Adults can even sign up for their own version of Aquatic Camp!

Please do not register for camp before you have read the policy pages in the Summer Camp Guide. Deposits are never refunded and there are important policies regarding deposits, balance due deadlines, etc. that you need to know before registering.

If your child needs any special accommodations, such as medication, behavior management and physical assistance, please contact Myra Gorman, at least two weeks prior to camp, at 847-448-8045 or MGorman@cityofevanston.org.
