The Youth and Young Adult Division understands the challenges the pandemic has caused for each of us.  As a result of these challenges, there are many employment opportunities that do not exist.  We are, however,  working tirelessly to ensure that youth have an opportunity to stay engaged for the summer.  Our Outreach Specialists are working to contact youth individually for job opportunities outside of MSYEP but just in case there is still no job available, please complete the form below to register for a paid virtual learning opportunity.

Students who have not received a job offer through MSYEP by June 26, 2020 are eligible for a paid virtual opportunity that will begin on July 7, 2020.

Apply here for virtual opportunity: Interest Form - 2020 MSYEP Virtual Program *

Once the application is complete, students will receive a zoom link to participate in the virtual program. Virtual sessions happen on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1pm-2pm until August 6, 2020. Earn up to $300 for the summer! There is a bonus for completing all sessions!

Interactive and paid session will include the following topics: Leadership, Critical Thinking, Social Responsibility, Oral and Written Communications, and "How to Pitch Yourself".  Financial Literacy topics include: "Money Skills", "Being Money Smart", "Credit Matters", and Paying for College.

*If you have received a job through MSYEP, you are not eligible for this virtual opportunity.

Please note: If you missed out on registering for the 2020 Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program, and are still looking for employment, please feel free to reach out to
