People wishing to provide identifying information on the subjects viewed in the photos should contact the Evanston Police Detective Bureau at (847) 866-5040 or utilize the text-a-tip program by texting to 27463 (CRIMES) and using EPD in the message line with the information and referencing the date, location, or incident number indicated in the posting.  Do not approach or engage the individuals.

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY -ARMED ROBBERY

On January 22, 2018 at approximately 4:34PM, a male offender attempted to rob a business in the 1600 block of Orrington, but was not successful.  The same offender robbed a store in the 900 block of Chicago Avenue a short time later and stole approximately $300.00.  The offender displayed a handgun in both incidents.  He was last seen on foot southbound on Chicago Avenue.  Anyone with information on the identity of the pictured subject is asked to contact the Evanston Police Department detective division at (847) 866-5040 18-603

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY - THEFT

 On August 13, 2017 at approximately 3:21PM, two males subjects entered the Best Buy in the 2300 block of Howard Street and ran out of the store carrying 5 Hewlett-Packard laptop computers.  Subjects fled in a dark grey minivan.  Anyone with information on the identity of the subjects, please contact the Evanston Police Department detective division at (847) 866-5040   17-7954.

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY - FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARD

On April 1, 2017 the below subject was observed stealing a wallet from victim's purse at the Jewel Food Store in the 2400 block of Howard Street.  The subject immediately went to Target in the 2200 block of Howard Street and immediately made a fraudulent purchase.   Anyone with information on the identity of the below subjects, please contact the Evanston Police Department detective division at (847) 866-5040.  17-2915

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY - RETAIL THEFT

On November 3, 2016 at approximately 2:30AM, the below subjects entered the 711 in the 800 block of Davis and stole several items before fleeing the scene without paying for the merchandise.  Anyone with information on the identity of the below subjects, please contact the Evanston Police Department detective division at (847) 866-5040.  16-30440

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY - BURGLARY/UNLAWFUL USE OF CREDIT CARD

On July 29, 2016 the victim had her purse and other items stolen from her hotel room on Sherman Avenue during a burglary.  The pictured individual was captured on video using the victims credit cards a short time later at two different stores in Evanston.  The offender is described as a male/black, 5'08" to 5'10", 160-180lbs., Anyone with information on the identity of the below subject, please contact the Evanston Police Department detective division at (847) 866-5040.  16-21855

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY - ROBBERY

On June 22, 2016 at approximately 4:15PM, the below pictured subject confronted three male juveniles and stole one of the juveniles bicycle with the threat of bodily harm.  The offender was last seen westbound in the 2100 block of Church Street.  The offender is described as being 18 years of age, 6'00, 250 lbs.  Anyone with information on the identity of the below subject, please contact the Evanston Police Department juvenile division at (847) 866-5050  16-17409

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY - VEHICLE BURGLARY/UNLAWFUL USE OF CREDIT CARD

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY - THEFT

On November 11, 2015 a male subject took a gray Apple MacBook Pro computer from a conference room of a hotel in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue.  The male subject appears to be 18-20 years of age, wearing a black hat, black sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.  Anyone with information on the identity of the below suspect, please contact the Evanston Police Department detective division at (847) 866-5040  15-32963

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY UNLAWFUL USE OF STOLEN CREDIT CARD

On June 22, 2015 a credit card was stolen in a burglary to motor vehicle incident in the 300 block of Dempster Street.  The below subject was captured on video using the stolen credit card at various locations throughout Evanston.  The male subject appears to be in his late 30's, with a beard and mustache and is wearing a red baseball cap (possibly with a Polo logo).  Anyone with information on the identity of the below suspect, please contact the Evanston Police Department detective division at (847) 866-5040  15-17479

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY VEHICLE AND OCCUPANTS IN AGGRAVATED BATTERY INCIDENT

On April 4, 2015 at approximately 3:51AM the occupants of the below vehicle were involved in a shooting incident in the intersection of Howard St. and Dodge Ave. where two people in another vehicle were shot.  The offending vehicle fled the area southbound on California Ave. into Chicago, Illinois.  The incident was also captured on video.  To watch the video click on the below picture.  Anyone with information, please contact the Evanston Police Department.    15-8898
