The Evanston Police Department offers police station tours to local organizations and community groups within Evanston.

Tour requests should be submitted via the online form above. Please review tour guidelines below before submitting your request.

  • Tours are available Tuesday through Friday

  • Tours last approximately 1 hour and include a short briefing, tour of certain areas in the department, and a Q & A session

  • Tour requests should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the preferred date

  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled tour start time

  • Tours can accommodate up to 20 people total, including chaperones

  • The minimum age for station tours is 7 years of age

  • Tour groups with children are required to have 1 chaperone per 5 children. Example 15 children = 3 chaperones
