Mason Park Expansion and Church/Dodge Transportation Improvements

Project Summary: 

Mason Park is a 5.2 acre park located south of Church Street and east of Florence Avenue. In 2017 the City of Evanston acquired several properties along the former Mayfair Railroad Right-of-Way between Davis Street and Lake Street allowing for the expansion of Mason Park with new recreation amenities. In addition to park expansion, this project will include non-motorized transportation improvements with a proposed pedestrian/bicycle connection through the former railroad embankment  at Davis Street as well as intersection improvements at Church Street/Dodge Avenue.
