Volunteer Evanston

The City of Evanston has transitioned away from using a third-party volunteer platform and is moving toward a more direct, community-centered approach to sharing local volunteer opportunities. Non-profit organizations can now submit their volunteer opportunities directly to the City through a simple email-based submission process. Our team will review each submission and help promote eligible opportunities through City communication channels.

In addition, the City is developing a comprehensive Non-Profit Directory to better connect residents with local organizations and support community engagement. More information about this directory, and how to be included, will be available soon.
