Our Communicable Disease Unit monitors and responds to reportable illnesses to prevent outbreaks. Environmental Health inspectors safeguard food safety, housing conditions, and environmental quality. Our Permits and Licensing team ensures businesses operate safely and responsibly. And our Emergency Preparedness team plans for and responds to public health emergencies—so Evanston is ready when it matters most.
