Family Focus

The mission of Family Focus is to promote the wellbeing of children from birth by supporting and strengthening their families in and with their communities. Family Focus offers developmentally appropriate, community-based programs to help parents gain confidence and competence as the primary caregivers and educators of their children. The Pregnant and Parenting Teen program strives to deter subsequent pregnancies, minimize incidents of STD/STI transmission and provides parents with education regarding healthy lifestyles for the parents and children. The Primary Prevention program seeks to reduce risky behaviors by providing a safe environment for elementary and middle school children to interact and receive support.
