Environmental Equity Investigation

In January 2026, MKSK Consulting and the City of Evanston presented the finalized Environmental Equity Investigation report, examining current and historical environmental justice issues and proposed solutions. Read the final report. 

Green Homes Pilot 

In 2019, the City of Evanston began working on the Green Homes Pilot, a program to address health and climate issues in residential buildings. The pilot was restricted to census tracts 8092 and 8102, which are considered vulnerable to climate risks, gentrification, and other socio-economic issues.
