City Launches Final Round of Its Guaranteed Income Program

The City has announced the launch of the final round of its Guaranteed Income Program, which will support 102 local families. This initiative is designed to provide direct financial assistance to help households meet essential needs such as nutrition and everyday expenses, offering a meaningful boost toward stability and well-being. 

The program reflects the City’s continued commitment to investing in residents and ensuring families have the resources they need not just to get by, but to thrive.

Community members are invited to attend upcoming information sessions to learn more about the program and application process. A 2025 tax return is needed to apply: 

  • Thursday, May 7, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
    Robert Crown Community Center (Room A)

  • Saturday, May 9, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Robert Crown Community Center (Room A)

Both sessions will provide eligible residents with the opportunity to apply and receive guidance on the process. 

To be eligible, residents must: 

  • Have a household income at or below 185% of the federal poverty guidelines and either:
    • Be at least 55 or older OR 
    • Have a second-grade student or younger in the household
