Provide Public Comment on Draft 2025 CAPER, now extended through March 18.

The City’s Draft 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) is open for public comment from Monday, March 2, now extended through Wednesday, March 18.

The Draft 2025 CAPER discusses the City’s accomplishments during fiscal year 2025 in meeting its community development and housing goals using federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs.

The Draft 2025 CAPER may be viewed online at cityofevanston.org/conplan.

A draft of the 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) may also be viewed in person at the City of Evanston’s Clerk’s Office located at 909 Davis Street through Wednesday, March 18, 2026

You can sign up to provide a written comment or provide your comment in person at the meeting here.

The 15-day public comment period for the CAPER, initially scheduled to close on March 17, at the Housing & Community Development Committee which was canceled to accommodate election day. The public comment period has been extended and will instead close following any input received during the CAPER Public Comment Hearing on Wednesday, March 18, 2026
