ASPIRE

Launched through a collaborative partnership with Endeavor Health, Evanston Township High School, and Oakton Community College, and with invaluable financial support provided by The Finnegan Family Foundation, The City of Evanston, and Endeavor Health - Community Investment Fund, ASPIRE Evanston has successfully transformed into a truly impactful experience. This initiative goes far beyond the scope of a typical workforce development program, actively working to shape promising futures not only within Evanston but also in surrounding communities. Since its inception in 2022, ASPIRE Evanston has consistently offered a comprehensive approach, encompassing both enriching job shadowing opportunities and valuable internship placements on an annual basis. As a direct result, a remarkable total of 260 participants, including dedicated high school students, ambitious college scholars, and engaged adult community members, have been afforded the chance to gain authentic, hands-on exposure to the dynamic world of healthcare careers. This initiative has awarded close to $200,000 in scholarships to local scholars attending Oakton Community College and other higher institutions of learning across the nation.
