City Invites Community to Provide Input on Key Public Spaces at Upcoming Putting Assets to Work Meeting

The City invites community members to attend a community-wide meeting to share input on the future of several important public facilities, including the Civic Center, Noyes Cultural Arts Center, and the Police and Fire Headquarters.

Putting Assets to Work

The meeting is part of Putting Assets to Work (PAW), Evanston’s community-driven asset development initiative. Through crowdsourced placemaking, digital platforms, community meetings, surveys, and focus groups, the City gathers ideas directly from community members to help shape how public properties are improved and utilized.

PAW is designed to ensure that Evanston’s public assets reflect the needs and aspirations of the entire community. From longtime community members to newcomers of all ages and backgrounds, every voice plays an important role in guiding the future of these shared spaces.

Community Meeting Details:

  • Date: February 25
  • Time: 6 p.m.
  • Location: Robert Crown Community Center, Room B/C, located at 1801 Main Street, Evanston, IL

Community members are encouraged to attend, learn more about the initiative, and share their ideas and priorities.
