Parking Information for Northwestern Events/Commencements
Northwestern University 2026 Home Football and Special Events Schedule
Gameday Parking Rules
No Parking Zones: Street parking is strictly prohibited on designated game and major event days in neighborhoods surrounding the athletic complexes (including parts of Central St, Lincoln St, Colfax St, and Noyes St near Sheridan/Orrington).
Parking restrictions will be in effect for events expected to draw more than 4,000 attendees. Restrictions will begin two hours before the event and remain in effect for one hour after the event concludes.
Exemptions/Permits Required: Vehicles parked in restricted residential permit zones without a proper neighborhood permit or exempt Evanston wheel tax status face heavy fines (up to $125) and risk being towed
