Login into your Recreation account or create one.
a. Account must include your birth date and a valid email address. -
Type “tennis” or “pickleball” in the reservation purpose field.

Confirm your reservation and make payment.

Your receipt serves as your permit.
Note: Tennis community sports affiliates should continue reserving outdoor courts by contacting Eric Eichholz at eeichholz@cityofevanston.org.
Court Rules
-
Priority is given to the City of Evanston programs.
-
Courts are open to the public. Play is on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
Reservations of the racquet courts will only be for City of Evanston programs, or other organizations and individuals preapproved by the City.

Instructors without City approval cannot use the courts for class or private instruction.
-
Hours of play to 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. for lighted courts and 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. for non-lighted courts. Court lights automatically shut off at 10 p.m.

When all courts are in use, players may “rack up” for the next available hour. No one may rack up more than two hours in advance.

You must have a two person minimum to hold a court. Anyone playing alone must give way to two or more players.

Remove your racket when you take the court so that others may rack up for future play.

Players who rack up are entitled to the court at the top of the hour. Example: from 5 p.m to 6 p.m.

Neither single or double players may rack up for more than one consecutive hour of play.

Only tennis or gym shoes are permitted in the court area.
-
Littering is prohibited.
-
Only tennis or pickleball players and children in their care are allowed on the courts.
-
Behavior including verbal or physical abuse, excessive profanity, or damage to the nets is prohibited.

No pets, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades or sports balls.
-
No food, glass, or alcoholic beverages.
-
Practice backboards may be used from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. only.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Within 24 Hours: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation will result in forfeiture of the full rental fee.

Before 24 Hours: Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will incur a $10 cancellation fee.

Rental
- Courts can be rented for up to 5 people.
- Paddles and balls provided.
- Fee: $20 per hour

- Levy members can enjoy pickleball sessions with other members on select days and time
- Net & balls provided, please bring your own paddles
- Fee: Free for Levy Members
Robert Crown Center

- Three half-courts
- 32 people per session.
- $5 per person -please pay fee at the front desk, prior to playing.
- First time participants will need to sign a waiver form .
